The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind

The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind is a great children’s book written by Willam Kam Kwamba and Bryan Mealer. Illustrated by Elizabeth Zunon. This story is about a little kid who lives in Malawi. His family is poor and doesn’t eat much food. He went to the library and saw a picture of a windmill. He saw how it harnessed the wind and made electricity. So he got some parts of metal and started making his windmill. He finished making the windmill and it provided electricity. One connection that I made is that I read a book about a guy who was the youngest kid to summit all the Seven Summits. Many people doubted him just like they doubted Wiliam. In conclusion, I think that this book is a great children’s book.
